Because we have developed Astonbury over the years it has got bigger and as it has got bigger so we want to put on a better and more spectacular show.
Moving it to the Rec in Aston Abbotts allowed us to get in more people. So we had to have a larger stage with better sound. Thanks to Martin Audio and Shillingford Scaffolding we achieved that.
This year we are looking to have a lighting spectacular!
To do that we need more power and we need to control the lights to create the effect. Call in the expert.... one Donnie Douglas. At our regular pub meeting Donnie was able to advise our resident experts Dave and Phil on generators, power distribution and lighting controls.
Armed with that information we then sent the chairman away on a scrounging mission!
This year we are going to spend some money to get the effects ...... so we are looking for sponsors. There is a marvelous opportunity to put up banners and highlight your company in the show field.
We also extend an invite to would be artistes and musicians who would like to contribute to the evenings fun.
